Why is SECCAS
more cost effective than an in-house system?
The requirements for creating
and running a complete archival and compliance system in-house
involve equipment, staff and bandwidth. On the equipment
side, a safe and secure system requires switches, firewalls,
routers, redundant application servers, back-up devices,
CD-R burners and more. On the staff side, skills in network
support, security management, mail services and backup procedures
would be brought to bear. Few companies want to invest in
the kind of redundancy of both staff and equipment in the
fulfillment of one service requirement. Conservatively speaking
we are looking at an investment of $200,000.
Can SECCAS
service expand as my company grows?
Yes. It is as simple as adding
the new email accounts to your service and tis is self-managed.
In many cases there is no additional charges incurred when
new users are added to the service unless volume exceeds
contrted levels.

company policy and should be handled in a way that is appropriate
to industry and legal requirements.
